A new baby in the house...

I have a new baby in the house, he is very small and precious.. His name is Murphy!.he is a tonkinese.

Miss G and I went for a lovely drive on Saturday afternoon to Echuca to collect our new edition. I still havent recovered from the 8 hours of driving ( at least it wasnt labour) and then there has been the disturbing meowing in the middle of the night, accompanied by the very loud purring in the ear before snuggling up to the feet under the doona...

The kids are in love and are so surprisingly gentle..especially Master (nearly)3.

I have finished another bakersboy in my favourite colour and this time I added some leaves to the flower. I like it.

I have had so many queries about where I got my labels made that I have posted this link to their new website here...

BRING BACK SWAPCARDS!!!
Whilst hunting through a drawer for something I came a little box of swapcards from when I was a young primary school girl, dont even ask how long ago that was..! My girls had a great time sorting through them.
Life used to be so much simpler, these days they all want a DS so they can play with a pretend dog.. we used to have these 40cent cards and valued them like nothing else.. I still remember building up my Sarah Kay collection, they were very very highly regarded cards.. I thought they were so cute I took some pictures, Yep, I probably am a bit loopy today. I am sleep deprived due to that new baby..

SWAP CARDS!!! I loved swap cards. Didn't really have many of my own but my big sister had loads and would let me look through them sometimes.

Even now I can remember sliding that elastic band off and barely being able to contain the vast quantity in one hand. (there must have been at least 50!! What? I was young, I had little hands!)

I never really loved those ones in the last set but Sarah Kay?
le sigh..

I don't remember the cards form my childhood... we had sticker-like things that we pasted into a book... similar artwork though...
They are just beautiful. Nice enough to hang in a little girl's room...
Loving the hat...

AWESOME - We are off this morning at 10am to the RSPCA to rescue another kitty ourselves (if it is still there).

Lovely Kitten, Just look at those eyes. Love the Bakersboy Caps too - I am attempting to teach myself crochet at the moment! Oh and thanks for the link to the label makers - I have sent them an email.

I love your new baby! We recently got a cat from the RSPCA and she is the new love of our lives. I was very taken with your swap cards. They were a big thing in my primary school years too, and I still have my collection somewhere. Thanks for visiting my blog.

I have a Tonkinese to and love him to bits. They are the best cats - so affectionate and real characters.
Your Murphy is beautiful - as are your swap cards. I must dig mine out next time I am at my parents' house.

We must be about the same age, as I remember collecting and swapping those same cards. Wow, how freaky - the memories they bring back. Thanks for sharing them.

Sweet kitty, I love when our kittens cuddle up with us. Would you be interested in having some of your hats photographed with my designs?
